Yoga Nidra

What is Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is the most transformative, potent and remarkably adaptive of all yoga practices. It is an ancient meditation practice that respects any religion, culture, philosophical orientation and age, while it enables well being and wholeness at all levels of life-physical, psychological and spiritual.

This simple self care practice, based on researches on Universities in India and even in Army Hospitals in USA, is proven to help enormously with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Stress
  • Chronic and acute pain
  • Insomnia
  • Auto immune deficiencies
  • Post Traumatic Symptoms Disorder ((PTSD).

How it works

It takes place lying down for 60 minutes listening to the yoga therapist’s voice, leading you deep inside you. Either personal or in a group, the Yoga Nidra is recommended to be recorded by you on your mobile, while you are having your session and then can be repeated as often as you like.

The Yoga Nidra practices can be tailored made, based on information given by you during a short interview prior to the session and this is the reason that the personal sessions last 90 minutes.

What is Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga releases on a deep level physical and emotional tensions by staying in various specific supported postures for a long period of time. During the session of 60 minutes, through passive stretching and gravity a profound relaxation and serenity is experienced.
